Let’s talk about language and information deprivation! This is the main reason why I decided to do ASL breakdowns instead of just simply signing the song because after doing so much research on language and information deprivation, there’s so many complex things that start to show up, so this is my way of making my account more accessible 90% of deaf children are born to hearing parents, majority of those parents don’t take the time to learn ASL for their child, therefore their child is deprived
