What the hell does “proc” mean? : r/gaming - Reddit
What the hell does “proc” mean? From my understanding it’s a critical of some kind but that’s it. I’ve heard this used over and over throughout my last decade of playing games and I never figured out what it mean’s exactly. Is it a catch all term that’s slightly different depending on the game? Is it a rigidly defined thing?

A “proc chain” can occur when the activated condition can trigger all this to occur again. Ukulele allows this to occur and when it hits rolls to apply sticky bomb for example. Luck rolls the dice twice and takes the best result (like advantage in dungeons and dragons if your into that). I welcome corrections but this is how I understand it.
